Freedom - a delightful feeling !

What does this word really mean? 
People generally come up with different views on freedom based on where they presume a lack of it and/or circumstances where they are deprived of it most. When this ecstatic thing is bestowed upon us, how many use it with sound judgment and rationality? I can hardly answer that question truthfully. There are times when I have argued to the end of time with my mom and rallied at home over having freedom to do things of my own. Of course, looking back I should say I did have a lot of independence to do what I wished. Yet in the end, happiness is not always the outcome. Those incidents made me think why I was not as happy as I wanted to be...the answer was quite surprising. I wished for what was not really my wanting at the time. Good realization, now I think. It was more like Mark has it, Janu has it, so I'll have it as well. 
I'm sure all of us have the fantastic ability to think well and make a decision, so let's shoot for what we want and not what we think we want.
